We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Fred Ervin Snowden, 74, of Round Hill, VA, on August 7, 2024.

Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His life was marked by devotion to his family, faith, and passions, including sports cars, jazz, motocross, and education.

Fred’s dedication to nurturing minds was evident through his work as an educator, pastor, and author. He earned his Ph.D. from Trinity Southern University and was an active member of Cornerstone Chapel.

Fred is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith; his sons, Kyle (Jowita) and Kent; his grandchildren, Taylor (Michael), Kelsey, Viktoria, and William; and his great-grandchildren, Marleigh and Mac. He was preceded in death by his son, Kliff.

Fred’s latest endeavor was The Belmont School in Ashburn, VA, where he sought to reach and educate children in the community. His hope was to provide scholarships for those who cannot afford private tuition, ensuring every child has access to quality education.
