Yesterday, our world became a little dimmer. It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of my best friend, Deb. To know Deb was to know a kind of warmth that you just don't find every day. Whether it was her legendary, contagious laughter that could fill a room or her fierce dedication to the people she loved, she was a true light in all of our lives.
Deb was a powerhouse. She poured her heart into everything—from working her way up to General Manager at Applebee's to being the loudest fan in the room for her Philly teams. But of all her accomplishments, her greatest pride and joy were her three daughters: Izzie (16), Addie (15), and Harper (10).
The loss of a mother and wife so suddenly is an unimaginable weight to carry. As her husband, Alan, navigates this new reality of raising their three beautiful girls alone, the last thing we want him to worry about is how to cover the mounting costs ahead. Funds raised through this page will go directly toward covering Deb’s funeral and memorial expenses, providing a financial cushion for Alan as he manages the household and supports the girls’ needs, and ensuring Izzie, Addie, and Harper have what they need as they face a future without their mom.
I spent so many years by Deb's side, and I can tell you that she would have been the first person to step up if any of us were in need. Now, it’s our turn to take care of her family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your generosity. Every donation, no matter the size, is a testament to the impact Deb had on this world. Your support allows Alan to focus on what matters most: being there for their daughters and helping them heal while honoring the incredible woman Deb was.
