Honoring the Life and Legacy of Angelo Ferrer

Dear family, friends, and peers,

Lara and I are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our father, Angelo Ferrer. A devoted family man, he was the backbone of our family - hardworking, selfless, and endlessly dedicated to those he loved. His love for his children was fierce and unwavering. Everything he did was to give us a better life.

This loss comes while we are still mourning the passing of our mother, Jenny. Our mother passed away in the year 2021 from cancer, and with the sudden loss of our father, this has been an incredibly painful time for us. Lara and I are struggling to handle the many responsibilities that come with losing a parent. As we navigate our grief and responsibilities, we're asking for help from our friends, families, and community. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of our father's funeral services, support our siblings, and handle financial/legal matters.

Paolo and Keara will be moving to California, where they will be cared for by our cousins, Arc and Anastasia. Arc and Anastasia have taken them under their wing, and alongside Lara and I, we will be raising them together. Keara, 14 years old, will be starting high school as a freshman, and Paolo, 17 years old, will be entering his senior year. As the kids prepare to return to school, we are doing everything we can to give them the support and stability they need. The funds will go towards their everyday needs, education, and long-term care.

In the midst of this difficult transition, Lara and I have taken on the responsibility of managing our father’s finances and taking care of the mortgage. At the same time, we’re seeking legal guidance from a probate lawyer to help us navigate the complex process of settling his affairs. The combined weight of funeral costs, legal fees, and ongoing household expenses has been overwhelming, and we’re asking for support to help us carry these responsibilities. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean so much to us as we work to bring closure, protect our family’s well-being, and fulfill the obligations he left behind.
