Honoring the life and legacy of Eddie Laboy

On Wednesday, January 19, my brother, Eddie A. LaBoy, went on to his eternal reward. As he left this existence and transitioned into the next, he left with a huge smile on his face, Eddie was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and knew without a doubt what his final destination was. He leaves behind a loving wife, Arlene, and a precious daughter, Tricia.

Eddie battled stage 4 liver cancer that began in his bile ducts, spread to his liver and finally his lymph nodes. He had several hospital stays and chemotherapy treatments that were ultimately ineffective. From the week before Thanksgiving until Wednesday, January 19, it was a quick decline. Thankfully, through the generosity of family and friends, I was able to be at his side as he went on to glory,

As I am sure you are aware, the medical bills and funeral costs are mounting. The financial uncertainty is daunting and I am reaching out to you, my family and friends, as well as anyone that knew my brother and knows his wife and daughter. If you would be willing to bless them and honor my brother’s memory, it would be greatly appreciated!
