Honoring the Legacy of Yusuf Ahmed

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Yusuf Ahmed, who returned to his Lord suddenly. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un — To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.

Yusuf was deeply loved by his family, friends, and the community at large. He was known for always being present when needed — serving the masjid, volunteering his time, and supporting those around him with kindness and sincerity. His sudden departure has left us heartbroken, but his memory continues to inspire us.

Our Goal

To honor Yusuf’s life and legacy, we are raising funds to establish lasting sadaqah jariyah projects in his name. Among these are:

• Building a mosque where people can pray and gather for generations to come

• Digging a water well to provide clean water for those in need

• Supporting other charitable projects that continue to benefit communities in this life and bring ongoing reward for Yusuf in the Hereafter

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim)
