Our Goal:
We are raising funds to honor the life and heart of Paula Huff. In alignment with how she lived her life, 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be distributed to causes she championed. Our family will not be retaining any of the funds; every dollar given is a seed planted in her memory to help those in need.
Paula’s Story
To know Paula was to be fed by her—both in spirit and, quite often, with a home-cooked meal. For Paula, cooking wasn't just a hobby; it was her primary language of love. Whether it was a neighbor going through a hard time or a friend celebrating a milestone; she knew that a warm meal could provide a sense of peace when it was needed most, or a dessert for an occasion worthy of celebration.
She was a woman of action who was deeply passionate about supporting the less fortunate. She didn't just hope for a better world; she volunteered her time and opened her heart to ensure that those in her community felt seen and cared for.
Where Your Donations Will Go
To honor her specific passions, we have chosen two avenues for these memorial funds:
• Sleep in Heavenly Peace (Topeka, KS Chapter): Paula was a regular contributor to this wonderful organization. Their mission is simple but profound: "No kid sleeps on the floor in our town." The majority of donations will go here to help build and deliver handmade beds to children in need within the Topeka area.
• Direct Community Impact: A portion of the funds will be set aside to provide direct assistance to a handful of individuals at a local organization where Paula frequently volunteered. To respect the privacy and anonymity of those she served, we are keeping the name of this organization private, but the impact will be felt directly by those walking the path she helped pave.
