Honoring The Legacy Of Manna Teclemariam

A memorial church service will be held for Manna at the Eritrean Tewahdo Church, 2740 Senter Rd, San Jose, CA on Saturday, February 7, 2026, 9 - 11 AM, followed by a reception and gathering till late afternoon to honor and remember Manna.

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we honor the life and legacy of Manna Teclemariam, who passed peacefully on January 31, 2026.

She embraced her health challenges with resilience, courage, and unwavering hope. Though she endured a lot, her spirit remained steadfast, marked by defiant positivity and a deep commitment to others.

Manna dedicated her entire life to serving others. As a proud Eritrean and a first-generation immigrant, she committed herself to advancing public health, equity, and culturally grounded care for African immigrant communities in the United States and abroad. With a Master’s degree in Public Health from San José State University, she carried her expertise back to Eritrea, where she spent more than a decade leading humanitarian projects.

Manna was a true example of resilience, compassion, and selfless service. Her optimism, strength, and belief in collective care shaped countless lives and will continue to guide the community she built.
