Justin's wife Amanda and their children Kensie (9), Barrett (7), Logan (4), and Peyton (1) are at a loss for words over the unexpected passing of their beloved husband and father, Justin Westbrooks. On April 13, 2026, Justin was involved in a tragic accident in his AT-6 Texan aircraft. His sudden loss has left a deep void in the lives of his family and all who knew him.
Justin was a dedicated pilot, graduating from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2009 with a degree in Aeronautical Science. He began his career as a First Officer with Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) from 2010-2016. Justin continued his career with Delta Air Lines in 2016 as a First Officer on the B-737; later becoming a Captain and Line Check Airman on the B-757/B-767 aircraft. Justin loved being a pilot for Delta and sharing his love of aviation with others. Above all, he cherished his faith, his family, and his community. Together, Justin and Amanda built a Christ-centered home, always striving to bring those around them closer to faith and love. Justin loved four things: Christ, Family, Flying, and the Tennessee Volunteers; especially Football.
Now, Amanda faces the immense challenge of raising their four children on her own. She is a devoted stay-at-home mom who homeschools Kensie, Barrett, Logan, and Peyton. The funds raised will go directly to Amanda and the children, helping them cover living expenses and allowing Amanda to continue homeschooling and nurturing her children as she and Justin always dreamed. Your support will help Amanda carry on Justin's legacy of love, faith, and family. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Amanda and her children as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
