Our Families—Forde, Oezer, and Lambert—are facing an unimaginable loss.

My Brother, my Sister-in-Love and my step-Nephew were taken from us in a tragic act of violence. Three lives, gone at once. There are no words that can fully express the weight of this loss or the impact it has had on all of us.

Right now, we are trying to navigate the immediate realities that follow such a tragedy—funeral arrangements, legal matters, and supporting one another through overwhelming grief.
