Honoring the Life of Areysi "Sisi" Aguirre – Support for Her Family After Tragic Loss

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of 10-year-old Areysi "Sisi" Aguirre. On Thursday, February 12, 2026, Areysi tragically lost her life in a rollover car accident while on her way home from soccer practice. She was a bright light in our community, and her sudden loss has left an immense void in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Areysi was an incredible soccer player with the Colorado Rapids Elite program in the 2015 age group. On the field, she was a talented, dedicated, and passionate soccer player who always gave her all. Off the field, she was so much more: a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loyal friend, an unbelievably supportive teammate, and a truly positive, inspirational kid. Sisi brought joy wherever she went. Her infectious smile, boundless energy, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on her teammates, coaches, family, and friends. She had a special way of lighting up any room and making everyone around her feel valued and happy. She will be deeply missed by so many.

Funds will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as any immediate needs as they navigate this unimaginable grief.
