It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our father, Terry Lee Hicks.

Our relationship with Terry was complicated, and there was distance over many years. Even so, his passing has brought grief, reflection, and the difficult responsibility of making final arrangements. Loss has a way of reminding us that, no matter the circumstances, a life deserves to be laid to rest with dignity.

Terry did not have life insurance, and his passing has left our family unprepared for the cost of funeral and burial expenses. The cost of a traditional burial is more than our family can manage, and at this time, cremation is the only option available to us.

We are navigating this loss while trying to do the right thing—honoring his life without placing an overwhelming financial burden on our family. Asking for help is not easy, but we are reaching out with humility and honesty.
