Hello everyone.
My name is April Brown and I'm starting this fund along with the help of my siblings to cover the cost of my mother's final expenses. In doing so, we wish to take some of the burden off my father in his time of grief.
Teresa Beth Brown was a stay-at-home mother and wife to Daniel Brown for 46 years. She spent majority of her married years raising five kids, three girls and two boys, while being a homemaker. She struggled with health issues on and off throughout her life but held strong.
She was a strong-willed and strong opinionated woman. She stood her ground for what she believed in and butted heads when it was needed. She took people in and called them her son, daughter, brother, or sister. For us, once you're in the family, you're in for good.
In recent years, she developed severe COPD that led to being on oxygen 24/7. Two years ago she suffered a health scare that caused her to stop breathing. Thankfully then, she was able to recover and come home but it weakened her lungs even more. Making her more susceptible to illness
Unfortunately, she passed away the night of January 30th from pneumonia and flu caused by complications from her COPD. We currently don't have the funds needed to follow her final wish of being cremated.
It would be greatly appreciated in our time if you could help us. Anything will forever be appreciated and cherished in our hearts.
