On April 7th, we lost the matriarch of our family and the most important woman in our lives, Tanya Sharie Jacobs. Tanya had a deep passion for her family, her community, and career. Through her work in fitness, she helped so many people build confidence, find strength and healing within themselves, and learn to truly love who they are. My mother dedicated her life to serving others and cared for her loved ones with a spirit that was uplifting, kind, and truly selfless. Anyone who knew her would describe her as the life of the party, a light that could fill any room, and someone who made everyone she met feel seen, supported, and loved. She leaves behind a lasting impact, especially on her children and the many lives she touched through her work. Tanya raised four children on her own while also caring for her mother, and more recently, her father. She worked tirelessly to ensure her family always had what they needed and always put others before herself.
