It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our matriarch, Tangela Thompson. To the world, she was a dedicated supervisor and a pillar of strength, but to us, she was the heart of our family a devoted mother of 5 and a indulgent grandmother to 10 beautiful grandchildren.

My mommy was a woman who commanded respect at work and radiated elegance everywhere else. Those who knew her professionally saw a leader who truly cared for her team. Those who knew her personally knew a woman of impeccable taste. Whether she was carrying her favorite Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors, or MCM purses, she moved through life with grace and a touch of class.

When you think of our mom "Tangela", you think of the color purple. It represented her perfectly. Royal, vibrant, and bold. When she wasn't busy caring for her family, you could find her losing herself in the excitement of an action, suspense, or thriller movie, enjoying the thrill of a good story.
