Hello everyone,
My name is Kezia Carmichael, and I am writing this with a heavy heart to share the news about my beloved sister, Tamika Carmichael.
Eleven days ago, our lives changed forever when Tamika collapsed at her job. She was resuscitated four times, but tragically, her brain went without oxygen for over 12 minutes. We are currently with her at a hospital in Texas, where the doctors have shared the hardest news imaginable: while the base of her brain is still functioning to allow minor movements, the parts of her brain that make Tamika who she is—her personality, her memories, and her spirit—are no longer working. am now faced with the most agonizing decision of my life: the decision to let my sister go. Tamika and I have always been incredibly close. She is my heart, and she has truly touched the lives of so many people with her kindness and love. She is a light that will never truly go out, but I need to make sure she is honored the way she deserves. Any amount you can contribute—no matter how small—will go directly toward these final expenses and helping me bring my sister home. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this post with others who knew and loved her.
Thank you for your prayers, your kind words, and your support during the worst time of my life.
With love and gratitude,
Kezia Carmichael
