My sister, your sister, our sister!! Tamesha was a pillar in so many people's lives. Her smile brightened hearts and faces alike. From Springfield Gardens IS 59 in New York to North Miami Beach and Miramar, in Florida, Mesha made friends at every school she attended. So wise, so strong, and yet so humble. As an adult, she touched so many people with her heartfelt words of encouragement and her passionate spirit. With this, she dedicated her life to being the best wife and mother one could wish for. Mesha always had the right words and knew how to express them in the most eloquent manner.

To breathe life and enjoyment into the human spirit was her unofficial duty. Mesha was married for 25 years (1999-2024) to Zimbalist, and throughout the journey, she never faltered on her loyalty to this unofficial duty. Her dedication to her 3 children (Zahniyah, Zacari, and Zaire) should be emulated!!! She attended nearly every school event and field trip, in addition to being part of the PTA, just to be present in their lives and maximize her involvement in their education. To say she showed an unwavering commitment to her family is an understatement. Mesha's nurturing spirit engulfed her family and will live on throughout their lives.

But you know, the thing is, she showed this affection, patience, and dignity not only to her children but to the countless number of people she was around.

So many people had the pleasure of loving Mesha; from our mother (Sharon), our grandmother (Carmen), aunts and uncles, cousins, her childhood friends, her adult friends and their kids, her God children, co-workers... and even the people at her local grocery store.

On Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at 11 o'clock AM, our amazing Tamesha will be celebrated and remembered.
