On July 8, 2026, my mother Tamara Peterson, age 58, passed away after a fierce and unfortunately very short battle with stage IV pancreatic cancer, diagnosed just around a month earlier. She was known for her strong, bombastic personality, deep empathy, and brilliant sense of humor, and made an indelible positive impression on most people she met. She was inquisitive and intelligent, with a great and abiding interest in history, the paranormal, and all things a little strange.

Unfortunately, her passing was so quick as to leave little room for our small family, being only my mother and I, to prepare for the aftermath. Any funds raised here will cover costs related to Tamara's cremation, memorial services, and any other expenditures related to settling the practical matters of her passing, as well as support for myself while I settle her affairs and move.
