Talana Ann Boone became part of our family in 2005 when she and my brother Fernando reconnected at a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. Their bond quickly grew into a loving relationship, and over the next twenty years, they built a life full of wonderful memories together. Talana was known for her caring nature—she always made sure her friends and family felt loved, whether through a thoughtful phone call, a cheerful text, or a heartfelt voice message. Her passions included arts and crafts, sports, music of all genres, and cheering on her friends at the Special Olympics. She also loved watching Dance Moms and brought a unique sense of humor and warmth to every gathering. Talana was kind, loving, and funny, with a little bit of spice that made her truly unforgettable.
Recently, Talana suffered health complications that led to a stroke, leaving her gravely disabled and unable to recover. Her passing has left a deep void in our family, and we are committed to supporting Fernando as he grieves the loss of his partner. We are raising funds to help Fernando honor Talana’s memory with a memorial service. The funds will go toward flowers, spiritual services, and a celebration of life surrounded by friends and family. Your support will help us give Talana the loving tribute she deserves and provide comfort to Fernando during this difficult time.
We are grateful for any contribution and for helping us remember Talana’s life and legacy.
