With deep sorrow and immense love, we share that Sylvia Carranza passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.

Sylvia will be lovingly remembered as a woman whose honesty, infectious laughter, and the joy she gave freely to those around her made every room brighter and every heart warmer. She was a source of strength, honesty, and warmth to all who knew her.

She opened her door and her heart to many family members, friends, and anyone who needed a place to land. She was a listening ear, a cheerleader, and a steady presence. Sylvia had a special way of making you feel like you mattered, like you could do anything. She was known for her humor, her wisdom, and her way of lifting people up with nothing more than a kind word and a home-cooked meal, often your favorite dish, just because you mentioned missing it.

She now joins her beloved mother, Juana, and her cherished son Danny in eternal rest.

Sylvia is survived by her sons Erick, Adam, and Christopher (CJ), her grandchildren Daniel, Dimond, Jaeliana, Erick, Eli, and Eliana, and her brothers Jaime and Hector.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life and receive her in love at a memorial service, to be announced at a later date.

Though she may no longer walk beside us, her laughter will echo in our memories, her love will live on in our hearts, and her spirit will forever surround those she touched. She leaves behind three incredible sons who carry forward her strength, compassion, and spirit.

We have created this fundraiser as a way to honor Sylvia’s memory and as a way for those who loved her to come together and support her family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss and the difficult road ahead.

All donations will go directly to her son, Adam Carranza, who is the official beneficiary of this fundraiser. I am simply helping organize this effort on behalf of the family, to share Sylvia’s story and help carry the love and support we know she inspired in so many.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean more than words can express, and we thank you for keeping Sylvia and her family close in your hearts.
