Honoring Sweet Ashlynn: Support for the Hallaway Family
On February 10th, 6:21pm, our lives changed forever. After a swiftly hard-fought battle with a brain tumor, our beautiful Ashlynn passed away at just 20 years old. If you knew Ashlynn, you knew she lived for the people she loved. She was the heart of her family, and nothing meant more to her than being a big sister. Her bond with her little brother, Asher, was something truly special—she was his protector, his biggest fan, and his best friend. Watching them together was a constant reminder of what pure love looks like.
Ashlynn’s soul was filled with music and a deep kindness for all living things. Whether she was lost in her favorite songs or doting on her animals, she brought a gentle, bright energy into every room she entered. She was only 20, but she left an imprint on our hearts that will last a lifetime.
My sister Jennifer and brother-in-law Jaime have spent every moment of the last few months focused on Ashlynn’s care. They fought right alongside her, navigating hospital stays and treatments that no parent should ever have to face. Now, while they try to navigate a world without her, they are left with the heavy reality of mounting medical bills and the high costs of funeral arrangements. We want to give Ashlynn the beautiful farewell she deserves and make sure her parents can focus on Asher and their own healing without the crushing stress of this financial debt.
