Last night, our family had to say goodbye to my sister-in-law and one of my closest friends, Suzan Chain.

Over the past year, Suzan fought a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout that time, Terri was by her side every step of the way, providing the love, care, and support Suzan needed during the most difficult days.

Suzy had a beautiful and incredibly strong heart. She loved her friends and family fiercely and never hesitated to show up for the people she cared about. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Truly, I don’t think I ever met anyone who didn’t love her.

In the wake of this tremendous loss, Terri and Ellie are now facing not only deep grief, but also the financial strain left behind from a year of medical treatments and fighting this devastating illness.

They need help to remain in their home and to ensure that Ellie can continue her education and maintain some stability during this incredibly difficult time.
