My name is Shay. I’m 19. My grandma Susan passed unexpectedly on 1/29 in her sleep. She had been bogged down by stress, and it eventually took her life. Now, with bills due, funeral arrangements, and my great-grandmother who was recently placed on hospice, my family and I are completely lost without her. She was a wonderful and beautiful woman who gave everything she had to her family despite everything she went through. She beat cancer for the second time late last year and went back to work even though she could have retired. Her first week back, an inmate attacked her, and she had to leave again. While off work, my great-grandmother, her mother, fell and broke her hip at the age of 87, leaving her in need of 24-hour care, which my grandma took on for months. I had recently moved back to take over care of my great-grandmother so my grandma Susan could go back to work. However, it seems God had other plans, and she passed. All of the burden she carried has been passed down to me and my family who are trying our best, but we need help. Anything helps. Thank you.
