Susano Archuleta was just 21 years old, a young adult with his whole life ahead of him. He was a victim of the mass shooting in north Stockton, losing his life at a birthday party along with three innocent children. Susano’s life was taken before he could truly live it. He was funny, kind, and protective—a loving person who died trying to protect everyone he could. Susano was a great son, the best brother, a wonderful boyfriend, and a loving uncle. He always put a smile on anyone’s face and had such a big heart. If he came across anyone he could help, he would. He loved his family deeply and was truly one of a kind.

As his mother, my heart aches for the loss of my son. His dad has the funeral costs covered for his side of the family, but for me and mine, we have to provide our own. It’s a hard time for us, and I don’t have the financial support to cover the cost of things for my side of the family and friends. I am reaching out to everyone—please help me send my son off the way he deserves. Whatever God puts in your heart will be appreciated so much. My son was a kind-hearted young man, and I want to honor his memory in the best way possible.

Donations will go toward food for the reception, programs, a sign-in book, a memory table for sharing memories of Susano, and the cost of the reception hall.
