My mother, Susan Weaver, was not only the heart of our family but also my best friend. She was a loving, caring person who always put others first and brought so much warmth into our lives. Four months ago, Susan was diagnosed with CJD, a devastating illness that quickly took away her ability to walk, talk, and eat. Despite these challenges, she fought with incredible strength and courage, never losing her loving spirit.

Yesterday, we lost Susan. Her passing was unexpected, and our family is heartbroken. We had so much hope that she could recover, but sadly, that was not to be. Susan touched the lives of everyone she met, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. We want to give her the farewell she deserves, surrounded by the love she gave so freely.
