My best friend, my hero, my coach ...my dad... What an honor it has been to be your son. There isn't enough words to fully express the amount of love in my heart I have for you. Although you haven't passed away from us yet, the inevitable is right around the corner. My hearts in a million pieces, but at that the same time my hearts full because of the amount of memories we created together. From teaching me guitar, to the endless buckets of baseballs you pitched to me, to the life wisdom you instilled in me. I'm forever grateful and would give anything to play catch and watch a Red Sox game with you right now.
I don't want this post to be to long though and will get straight to the point. As my beautiful father is in his home stretch of life... that comes with so many things that we need to get done. Being that he lives in Maine this has become quite expensive for a lot of people involved with traveling costs, being out of work, and the endless list of things that need done in the process of preparing for his passing. There is no set amount we need or are aiming for. Any little bit will be appreciated. Our family is just hoping to find some sort of financial relief from all this.
Thank you in advance to everyone, even if its just love and a smile you can send our way. I will naturally make a post once he passes so anyone wanting updates isn't kept out of the loop.
