Steven Wayne Woolever was a man who never met a stranger. He always sought to bring a smile or a laugh to those around him, and his presence was a constant source of support for his family. For over 28 years, Steven faced serious health challenges, including two massive heart attacks and many other ailments. Despite it all, he remained a tremendous fighter, never giving up and always finding humor in his journey—he loved to joke that he had nine lives, just like a cat.

Steven’s passing after his final battle, kidney cancer, has left a deep void in our lives. We are raising funds to cover the costs of his cremation, mortuary services, an urn, and a celebration of life that will be open to anyone and everyone who wishes to honor his memory. Our hope is to give Steven the farewell he deserves, reflecting the warmth and generosity he showed to others throughout his life.

Your support will help ensure that Steven’s wife, Terri, can commemorate her husband in a way that truly honors his legacy, rather than settling for the minimum. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Fri 24th at Smith Mortuary in Derby.

Celebration of life will be at mulvane middle school from 1-4 on the 25th.
