Honoring Steven Martinez: A Beloved Father, Husband, Son, and Friend

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Martinez on January 2, 2025, at the age of 58. Steven was a devoted husband to Sophy Martinez, a loving father to Matthew Martinez and Jacob Morales, a dedicated son to Mike and Linda Martinez, and a cherished friend to so many.

Steven lived a life full of passion and love. He cherished traveling to new places, casting a line while fishing, and exploring the great outdoors on camping trips. Above all, Steven’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family, creating memories that will be held close to our hearts.

For over 20 years, Steven served as a dedicated Respiratory Therapist at Garden Grove Hospital. His kindness and commitment to his patients and colleagues left an indelible mark on everyone he worked with.

Steven also had a deep love for classic cars, especially his favorite—the 1969 Corvette Stingray in Daytona Yellow. It was a reflection of his vibrant personality and timeless spirit.

For the past three years, Steven bravely battled stage 4 cancer with resilience and grace. Despite his unwavering strength and determination, the cost of his medical care has left a significant financial burden on his family.

To honor Steven’s memory and help ease the financial toll of his medical expenses, we are raising funds to support his family during this challenging time. Your generosity will not only help cover these outstanding costs but also provide much-needed support to Sophy, Matthew, and Jacob as they navigate life without him.
