It is with deepest sorrow that we share the passing of Steve Powell, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Steve was called home to be with his Lord and Savior after succumbing to the effects of an undetected brain mass. His faith, love, and gentle spirit touched all who knew him. Known for a sense of humor that could light up any room, Steve brought warmth and joy wherever he went. A proud Baltimore County Police retiree, Steve lived by a lifelong code of protect and serve. His unwavering dedication to others—both in his career and in his everyday life—left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Steve’s honor on January 10, 2026, at his home church, Church 3.0 in Westminster, Maryland. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join in remembering his life, his legacy, and the joy he shared with the world. We give God all the glory and praise for his remarkable life.
