Honoring Steve: A loving Dad, Uncle, Brother, and Papa

Hello everyone. It is with a very heavy heart that I write this. My dad, Steve Marler, passed away on Thursday January 2nd, 2025. He was in the midst of his battle with stage 4 nasopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma after being diagnosed in September 2024. His death resulted from a stomach bleed and his passing was very sudden since all the information we had been getting from his doctors was very positive and he was heading towards remission.

My dad was an amazing man. He was a girl dad through and through, sacrificing his career as a classically trained chef to raise his five daughters while our mom worked to support us. He was a giant nerd, loving all things superheroes, Star Wars, dinosaurs, and Star Trek related. He was everyone's "Uncle Steve" and will be missed by so many of our family and friends and the community as a whole.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards a memorial service for my dad later this summer. Please give what you can and if you can't please share with those who can. Thank you
