Honoring Stellah: Support Her Final Journey

Our dearest Stellah Muhumuza Semakula left us on September 27th, 2025. Stellah lived in Helsinki, Finland. She came to the United States for 3 weeks to visit friends and family. Unfortunately, she fell ill towards the end of her visit. She was then admitted to hospital. One month later, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer which she succumbed to.

Stellah was an amazing wife and mother, and she touched so many lives of people around her. Her death has left an unimaginable hole in our lives, especially for her four beautiful children – Aliza, Ramon, Annelin and Adriana – and her loving husband, Paul Mugagga Semakula. Stellah was the heart of their family, their rock, and their greatest cheerleader.

Her children were her world, and her love and strength as a mother were truly inspiring.

Now, as we come to terms with her sudden passing, we’re asking for your support.

We want to give Stellah a meaningful goodbye surrounded by the people she loved – one that honours the incredible woman she was. The funeral expenses are high If you’re able to spare anything, it would mean the world to her family.

All donations will go directly towards funeral costs; repatriating of the body back to Uganda, tickets for the young children to attend their mother’s funeral, and the funeral home-service costs.
