Hello everyone and God bless you all. This is the heroic story of Starlet Sky Valdez. Starlet was born on 9/4/25. She was born with a rare genetic disorder called Trisomy 18, also known as Edward's syndrome. Starlet had a number of other health conditions that prevented her from being able to remain with us here on earth. We are deeply saddened to announce that she transitioned back to our Heavenly Father beyond the Pearly Gates of Heaven on 12/1/25. I am proud to say that in Starlet's short time on earth, she got a lot accomplished. She touched so many people's lives, she taught us so many things, and she reminded her loving parents to seek salvation through their lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks to Starlet, both of her parents have accepted Lord Christ as their savior, they were both baptized and they formed a covenant under God by getting married. Starlet has had an outpouring of love from all of the medical personnel who have had the pleasure of being able to care for her. Her Journey started at Advent Health where we quickly found out that she would have to be transferred to the MUMA NICU at Tampa General Hospital, where they took good care of her and kept her stable enough for us to get to NEMOURS Children's Hospital in Orlando. She was able to travel by helicopter which is something that most people who live full healthy lives never get to do. In her short time on earth, she accomplished things that no one thought would be possible. She single-handedly made sure that her family would receive eternal life through the blood of Jesus Christ and that we would all have a place in heaven next to her and everyone else that we have lost along the way. Our ancestors received a beautiful blessing when she transitioned to our Heavenly Father. As much as it pains us not to have her in the physical form anymore, we take solace in knowing that Starlet is not suffering anymore, and that she is in good company, as she had a whole family in heaven waiting for her. 2 grandparents 7 great-grandparents, and even a sibling that we miscarried back in 2015. Not to mention she is in the presence of the Holiest of Holy the true Christ. We thank God for Starlet, all that she is, and all that she will continue to be, as she has been our guiding light, a force to be reckoned with, and a true example of a warrior princess. She had more fight in her tiny body than 10 Mike Tysons when he was in his prime. This page was set up because we have lots of people reaching out with love and support, asking if there is anything that they can do for us. We honestly don't expect anything, so anything is more than what we expected. We just want to provide an avenue for people who would like to help with the funeral expenses. Thank you all for reading about part of Starlet's story. This is a story with an open end, because her parents will continue God's work. We will continue to walk a path of high faith, and everything we can do in God's holy name, every opportunity we have to serve our lord, we owe it to her life and the impact it had on us.
