Benjamin Velasco aka "Sparky" was full of love and good times. Anyone that ever met him never forgot him. Filled with character, laughter, and endless support, his love for music and his metal family was like no other. Sparky was certainly struggling with issues but especially medical issues after his surgery from back injuries however he never let that hold him back in life. Stubbornly he would continue to push himself cause he felt that much more alive than anyone else.

I would talk to Sparky almost every day whether it be through text or on the phone or just hanging out at shows but he knew he was loved and appreciated. His involvement with the scene kept him alive and motivated to keep pushing. Anyone that knows me or has been to any Sick & Living shows or LA Extermination Fest will see him and meet him cause he was always one of my ride or dies.

Thank you Sparky for being the awesome person that you were. We're gonna miss you but we will never forget you and I personally will include you in everything I do for as long as I can. Much love brother, rest in peace.
