With heavy hearts, we are devastated to share the unexpected passing of Sonny. Sonny was a kind, loving, and unforgettable person who brought so much light, laughter, and love to everyone around him. His presence touched the lives of so many, and his loss leaves an unimaginable pain in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.

If you knew Sonny, you knew how much he loved his sweet desserts. Boba, durian cake, crème brûlée — you name it. He would be eating it with the biggest smile on his face. He also loved joking around, making people laugh, and spending time with his friends and family whenever he could. It’s these little things, along with his warmth and joyful spirit, that made him so special to everyone around him.

My name is Linda Nguyen and I am Sonny’s close friend. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Sonny’s sister, Sandra Pilanthnakorn, who is the beneficiary. During this incredibly difficult time, Sandra has asked me to help manage the funds on her behalf while the family navigates this heartbreaking loss.

The funds raised will go directly toward Sonny’s funeral and memorial services, as well as related expenses to honor his life and support the family during this difficult time. Once the funds are available, I will transfer them directly to Sandra through GoFundMe so they can be used for these expenses and to help ease the financial burden on the family.
