Our hearts are completely broken as we share the passing of my mom, who everyone knew and loved as Sissy. Sissy was truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She had the biggest heart and would do without just to make sure someone else was taken care of. She never had much in life, but that never stopped her from giving—she would give her last dollar if someone needed it. That’s just who she was. She loved her grandkids more than anything. Spending time with them—my girls and my niece—brought her so much joy. They were her world, and she made sure they knew how deeply they were loved. While our hearts are grieving, we also have peace knowing that she is no longer in pain. She fought a good fight, she finished her race, and we know she is now with Jesus. We hold onto the hope that we will see her again one day. Unfortunately, Sissy did not have life insurance, and we are now faced with the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses. We are currently waiting to finalize arrangements, but we want to be able to give her a proper service that honors the beautiful life she lived. If you feel led to give, any amount would mean more to us than we can express. If you’re not able to give, we completely understand—your prayers, love, and support mean just as much during this time. Thank you for loving our family and for helping us honor Sissy in the way she deserves.
