Silvino Zurita was a warrior — generous, humble, and always putting others first. After months of seeking answers, doctors discovered a large mass on his pancreas. Despite immediate treatment, the cancer had progressed to stage 4 and spread to other organs. Silvino began chemotherapy in March and faced the treatment with courage and optimism. He endured many setbacks, including internal bleeding that required multiple blood transfusions and pauses in treatment, but he returned to treatment whenever he could. In all of it, Silvino remained kind and tried to comfort everyone around him, always telling us “it’s going to be okay.”
On the morning of February 11, 2026, Silvino passed away peacefully. He is no longer in pain and will forever watch over his loved ones.
