With heavy hearts, we share that Sienna “Nena” Galera took her final breath on the evening of January 28, 2026, surrounded by a room filled with love — including her beloved son, Leonidas “Leo” Nguyen.

Sienna courageously fought a long and painful 12-year battle with lupus, never allowing her illness to define her strength or spirit. On this evening, our Heavenly Father called her home to rest.

Sienna was truly special to so many. She was a devoted daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a loving mother. She was an endless hard worker, always giving more of herself than was ever asked. To many in the plant community, she was known through Bomi’s Garden, a labor of love she worked passionately on for the past five years in honor of her sister Salina “Bomi”, who passed in 2020 from lupus, as well.

Her kindness, resilience, and selflessness touched every life she encountered. Sienna leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and unwavering devotion to family.

She is survived by her cherished son, Leonidas “Leo” Nguyen, and her loving family:
