A Note from the Family

There was no role Shawn King ever held that meant more to him than being a father. His heart belonged entirely to his daughter, Allisandra (Alli). She was the light of his life, his greatest adventure.

Shawn’s devotion to Alli was fierce and unwavering. He wanted the absolute best for her—not just in the moments they shared on the ski hills, but for every mountain she would eventually climb on her own. He spoke often of his dreams for her, and his deepest desire was to see her grow into a strong, educated woman with the world at her feet.

We are creating this educational fund because we know that, above all else, Shawn would have wanted to ensure Alli is taken care of. He would have wanted to know that his community, his friends, and his family stood in the gap for her when he no longer could.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, we invite you to help us honor Shawn’s memory by investing in Alli’s future. These funds will be used exclusively for her education and to provide the foundation Shawn was so dedicated to building for her.

Shawn lived life with a fearless energy, but he loved Alli with a gentle, tender devotion that we will never forget. By supporting this fund, you are helping to fulfill a father’s greatest wish for his daughter.
