We are heartbroken to share the passing of Shawn Michael Brann on April 10, 2026. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to honor Shawn’s life, we have created a family support fund in his memory.

Shawn was a devoted husband to Tracy, a proud father to Jordyn and Jared, and a deeply loved son, brother, family member, and friend. He spent his life serving others through a long and meaningful career in fire service, beginning as a volunteer firefighter at just 19 years old and continuing through his years with Scottsbluff Fire Department, the State of Nebraska, and Poudre Fire Authority, where he rose to the rank of captain. Even after retirement, Shawn continued that work as a fire investigator.

More than anything, Shawn will be remembered for the way he loved his family and the people around him. He was strong, loyal, hardworking, and full of humor. He loved camping, boating, grilling, and spending time with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

This fund has been established as a way to honor Shawn’s life and support the family he loved so deeply. We are grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time.
