Our dad, Shawn Baird, is declining rapidly, and our family is doing everything we can to prepare for what we know will be an incredibly difficult loss.

He has been battling cancer and his health has taken a turn much faster than we expected. He is currently receiving hospice care, and while we are focusing on making the most of the time we have left with him, we also want to make sure our family is prepared for the expenses that will come with his passing.

We are starting this fundraiser now so that friends, family, and anyone who would like to help can contribute toward his funeral and final expenses. We know that not everyone is able to give financially, and there is absolutely no pressure to do so. Sharing this fundraiser, sending prayers, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts means more than we can say.

Our dad also has teenage children who are facing the loss of their father. If there are any funds remaining after his funeral and final expenses are covered, they will go toward helping his teenage children with Christmas and other needs during what will undoubtedly be a very difficult time for them.
