On the night of March 23, our family’s world was shattered. My brother, Shauvin Horsley, was tragically taken from us far too soon. Around 8 PM, he was struck by a vehicle near Madison Road and I-80. What followed is something no family should ever have to endure. He was dragged for over two miles before being found near Renick Way.

We are heartbroken. This loss is unimaginable, and the pain our family is carrying cannot be put into words.

Shauvin was full of life. He was vibrant, loving, outspoken, and someone who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved deeply, stood strong in who he was, and always showed up for the people around him. His presence filled rooms, and his absence has left a void that will never be replaced.

As our family grieves, we are asking for support during this incredibly difficult time. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and give Shauvin the memorial he deserves.
