We are heartbroken over the loss of Shaun Manning, a man deeply loved by not only his family and friends, but also the community he served. Shaun was a devoted father, grandfather and husband, as well as a lifelong Portland resident dedicated to serving others. He took great pride in being an active member of the Board of Selectmen, a first responder and firefighter at Company 3 Firehouse.
Shaun was a bright light in the lives of so many, always generous with his time, kindness and his contagious humor. Shaun's impact on those who knew him cannot be measured, and the grief we feel is matched only by the gratitude we have for having had him in our lives.
