This morning, many of us awoke to heartbreaking phone calls and texts about the sudden passing of our beloved Shanon Leigh Vasbinder-Blystone The news has left a gaping hole in our hearts, a void that resonates deeply within the Love O’Hana Group and the broader Pyro community she touched with her warmth and kindness. Shanon was not just a friend; she was a cornerstone, a shining beacon of hope and strength.

For those who had the privilege of knowing her, Shanon was more than a name. She embodied the spirit of music, love, connection, and community that the Love O’Hana Group stands for. Her presence was a constant source of light at Pyro Festivals, illuminating the lives of all who attended. Whether she was orchestrating a meet and greets for Mike Love, selling her art, lending a listening ear, or simply sharing a laugh, Shanon made every moment feel special. To her family—her loving partner, Jeremy, mother, Carlen, her beautiful children, and grandchildren—this loss is immeasurable. Shanon’s Celebration of Life will be held on June 17, 2025 at the American Legion Post 62 from 2pm-4pm

For those unaware Shanon’s son, Jason Blystone, Jr. (Lizzie’s father) perished in an early morning house fire on February 24, 2025 just 9 short days after their family lost Shanon.
