Honoring Shanon Leigh: Support for Her Loved Ones
Donation protected
This morning, many of us awoke to heartbreaking phone calls and texts about the sudden passing of our beloved Shanon Leigh Vasbinder-Blystone The news has left a gaping hole in our hearts, a void that resonates deeply within the Love O’Hana Group and the broader Pyro community she touched with her warmth and kindness. Shanon was not just a friend; she was a cornerstone, a shining beacon of hope and strength.
For those who had the privilege of knowing her, Shanon was more than a name. She embodied the spirit of music, love, connection, and community that the Love O’Hana Group stands for. Her presence was a constant source of light at Pyro Festivals, illuminating the lives of all who attended. Whether she was orchestrating a meet and greets for Mike Love, selling her art, lending a listening ear, or simply sharing a laugh, Shanon made every moment feel special. Her infectious spirit drew people together, creating bonds that many of us will cherish forever.
As we reflect on her life, it's impossible not to feel the profound loss of such an incredible soul. To her family—her loving partner, Jeremy, mother, Carlen, her beautiful children, and grandchildren—this loss is immeasurable. Shanon was their everything: a devoted daughter, a nurturing partner, a caring mother, and a doting grandmother. The ripples of grief created by her absence extend far beyond our immediate circle; they echo throughout existence itself.
Shanon believed in the power of community, and now it's our turn to embody that belief. Contributions of any kind—whether financial, emotional, or simply an embrace or kind word—will mean more than we can express. Together, let's honor Shanon's legacy of love and compassion by supporting those she cherished the most.
Although we mourn the loss of a truly remarkable person, we can find solace in the knowledge that Shanon was immensely proud of her life and the joys it contained. Her love for life was palpable; it radiated in her laughter and in the way she cherished every moment spent with friends and family. It was this love that drew so many to her, and it is this love that we will carry forward.
In a world marked by chaos and uncertainty, her legacy serves as a reminder that love and connection are the most powerful forces of all. ❤️
Shanon’s Celebration of Life will be held on June 17, 2025 at the American Legion Post 62 from 2pm-4pm
2000 SE Fischer St. Stuart, FL 34997-4972
For those unaware Shanon’s son, Jason Blystone, Jr. (Lizzie’s father) perished in an early morning house fire on February 24, 2025 just 9 short days after their family lost Shanon.
All donations are so needed and appreciated. Jeremy, Carlen and Falon are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this unimaginably difficult time.
