Honoring Shannon: A Celebration of Life

My name is Theresa Arrington-Heard, and I am heartbroken over the sudden and tragic loss of my beloved cousin, Shannon Arrington. On September 10th, 2024, Shannon's life was cut short, and her body was discovered in the Quinnipiac River in New Haven. As a registered nurse with twelve years of experience in the behavioral health care field, I feel compelled to raise awareness about mental health issues in our community. Shannon battled depression, especially following the recent passing of her mother, Otila Arrington. All contributions will be dedicated to honoring Shannon with a fitting memorial service.
