With a heavy heart, I’m sharing that due to a heart attack, I lost my brother on June 2, 2026, at Eisenhower Health Center in Rancho Mirage. As I grieve, I’ve also taken in his beloved dog, Gizette, and taken responsibility for his home in Cathedral City — a place many knew back in the days as Rock Garden Retreat. I’m now planning his memorial service and cremation, though the details aren’t finalized yet. At the same time, I’ve been hit with immediate expenses on several fronts: Gizette needed urgent veterinary care, and those bills are ongoing. My brother’s house needs major cleanup and I’m facing mortgage, utilities, and maintenance costs to keep it from falling into disrepair.
The funds raised will help with:
• Memorial service and cremation costs
• Immediate and ongoing veterinary care for Gizette
• Mortgage, utilities, and major cleanup costs at his Cathedral City home
• Other unexpected expenses related to his passing
My brother loved Gizette, and he loved his home, Rock Garden Retreat. Helping both of them is how I can honor him right now. If you can donate or share this, it would mean the world to me. Any amount helps, and sharing helps just as much. Thank you for your kindness and support during this incredibly difficult time.
