Supporting the family of Dedham Police Sergeant James Quigley
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dedham Police Sergeant James Quigley, who courageously battled cancer while continuing to demonstrate the strength, dedication, and selflessness that defined both his career and life.
For over 10 years, Sgt. Quigley faithfully served the Dedham community, protecting and helping others with compassion, integrity, and professionalism. Beyond the badge, he was a loyal friend to many, the cherished son of Donna and Jay Sr., brother to Lindsey, devoted husband to Kate, but most significantly, a loving father to Maeve and James, whose impact will never be forgotten.
Our intention is to raise funds to help support Sgt. Quigley and Kate, and their two children, Maeve and James, as they go through this unimaginable loss. The funds will be used to provide Maeve and James the experiences Jay always dreamed of providing them throughout their life and ease some of the burden associated with medical expenses, funeral costs, and future college tuition. We want to show his family all of the support from the people Sgt. Quigley has had a lasting impact on.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help honor Sgt. Quigley's legacy and provide comfort and support to the family he loved so deeply. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping the family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the life, service, and memory of Sgt. Quigley. It was his greatest honor to serve the Town of Dedham and the surrounding communities. His dedication and compassion for others will never be forgotten.
"The true measure of a person's life is the difference they made in the lives of others. Sergeant Quigley made a difference every day."
