Operation Nikki’s Embrace was created to honor the life and legacy of MSG Nicole Amor.
MSG Nicole Amor, passed away while serving our country. Nicole was a rare and special light in this world, and she will be missed more than words can ever explain. She was a devoted soldier, wife, mother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and generosity touched countless lives before she passed.
Nicole found deep peace and joy in gardening - nurturing life, tending to the soil, and creating food to nourish those she loved. What began as a simple wish to build a greenhouse in her memory has grown, through the love and generosity of so many, into the start of a foundation dedicated to carrying her spirit forward.
Many people have asked how they can help, as Nicole meant so much to many. If you feel moved to contribute, these funds are being used to start a foundation to memorialize and honor Nikki’s legacy.
Through gardens, greenhouses, community spaces, and acts of service, Operation Nikki’s Embrace seeks to create places where life can grow, hearts can heal, and people can experience the same compassion, care, and embrace that Nikki shared so freely with the world.
A portion of the funds will still be donated to Garden in a Box, the non-profit Nicole loved. Another portion will be used for administrative costs of starting the foundation as we file for non-profit status.
As her husband, Joey, shared: "The world is dimmer without her light in it, but her love and the impact she made will live on in all of us."
She was loved so greatly by so many people, and she loved each and every one of you right back.
This gofundme is organized by Rachel Schuler - Nicole’s Cousin & Amy Kuretsky - Nicole's Sister In Law. All funds donated will be directly received by Nicole’s husband, Joey Amor, and the foundation we are creating in Nicole's name.
