Sgt. First Class Nicole Amor, passed away while serving our country. Nicole was a rare and special light in this world, and she will be missed more than words can ever explain.
As her husband, Joey, shared: "Nicole was an amazing solider, but more than that she was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. The world is dimmer without her light in it, but her love and the impact she made will live on in all of us.
Nicole loved gardening. It was where she found peace and joy. In honor of her, her husband would like to build a greenhouse at their home -- a place that would have made her incredibly happy and at peace. A space where her love for growing things can continue to live on.
Many people have asked how they can help, as Nicole meant so much to many. If you feel moved to contribute, funds will be used to build a greenhouse in Nicole's honor - a living space that reflects the love, warmth, and life she brought into this world."
Any extra funds would be donated to a local non-profit, Garden-in-a-Box. This is the non-profit that helped Nicole build her gardens at home.
At this time we are overwhelmed by the love and support that has already been shown for Nicole and her memorial. We are expanding our goals with the hope of creating a larger memorial and maybe even working with the city to create a space for the entire community to find the same joy and peace that Nicole often found in gardening.
She was loved so greatly by so many people, and she loved each and every one of you right back.
This gofundme is organized by Rachel Schuler- Nicole’s Cousin & Amy Kuretsky-Nicole's Sister In Law. All funds donated will be directly received by Nicole's husband, Joey Amor.
