On Friday, February 25th, God received an angel. Sgt Chris Kostoff passed away. He was a dedicated police officer of the Lake County Sheriff’s Department for 20 years. He is survived by his Wife Tara, of 23 years, his 3 children Grace (20), Christian (17), Olivia (12). Tara is a special education teacher at Crown Point High School. Grace attends Valparaiso University and will be joined by Christian this coming fall. Olivia is a 6th grader at Taft Middle School. Sgt Kostoff deserves a memorial to honor him not only as a loving family man, but also for all his years of public service as a dedicated police officer.
