Honoring Serina Silvestre – Supporting Her Legacy

On the morning of April 7th our hearts were shattered. Serina Silvestre—a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend was tragically taken from this world in an act of unimaginable violence. Her life was stolen by her ex-husband, Michael, leaving behind her children and a grieving community trying to make sense of something so senseless.

Serina was more than a victim—she was light, love, and strength. She worked hard to give her children the life they deserved. She had dreams, laughter that could fill a room, and a heart that never stopped giving. She tried to protect her kids from pain, and now, it’s up to us to protect them in the aftermath of the unthinkable.

We are raising funds to support Serina’s children as they navigate a future no child should ever have to face. These funds will go toward grief counseling, daily living expenses, education, and anything else needed to help give them some stability and hope after this traumatic loss.

Serina was a dear friend of mine since high school. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Serina’s aunt, Lulu—Serina’s mother’s sister—during this heartbreaking time.
