My sister Alisann Stout and Daniel Dephino had a beautiful baby girl Serena Ann Stout (2yrs 10 months). On March 16th Serena was diagnosed with Rhinovirus. She was taken to WVU pediatrician. They told my sister (Alisann) to monitor, push fluids, and tylenol as needed. By March 18th around 2:30 Serena began to loose consciousness. Alisann called 911, Serena was alive when she reached Marietta Hospital. They believe that she aspirated on her own mucus, the medical team was unable to clear her throat. She lost her pulse, they got her pulse back once. But she just wasn’t strong enough to come back to us. She was gone by 3:56PM on March 18th. Anything helps us, and my family. We are devastated, no one thinks of losing a 2 year old beautiful girl.
